The Parable of the Wolf and the Bear

Alright, y'all, I've got another parable for you. By the way, tomorrow I'm going to post the interpretation of the Parable of Dog Poop. Be on the look-out for that.

You're lost in the woods. One hundred yards away, there is a starving wolf. One hundred inches away, there is a starving grizzly bear.

Which one do you worry about the most and why?

What is the political application of this parable? (Heck, it even extends into matters of everyday life.)

  1. I would worry about the wolf the most because once I escape from/defeat the bear I will be tired. That's when the wolf will be ready to pounce.

  2. You're looking too far into the analogy. It's not a trick one. Besides, wolves can't climb trees. Bears typically can.
